12-Sept-2019 - The IDNS Fungi 25-28S Reference Database has been reconfigured to improve coverage and species representation. This update also facilitates our future "Fungal Centroids" database and annotations. Click here to review additional details in a PDF document regarding this update.

26-June-2019 - The IDNS 16S Centroids database and the Centroid annotations in the IDNS 16S rDNA Eubacteria database within the SmartGene Bacteria module have been updated.

The IDNS 16S Centroids database now contains almost 15,000 species representing a total of 2,938 genera.

In the IDNS 16S rDNA Eubacteria database, more than 426k of a total of almost 867k entries are now annotated with confidence values (and other Centroids-related annotations) to facilitate your search for matching species variants. The remaining entries are either not named with a valid species name (www.dsmz.de) or have been submitted very recently.

Of course, we continue updating our databases continuously, in order to make the most recently deposited sequences available for your searches.

26-May-2019 - The IDNS 16S Centroids database and the Centroid annotations in the IDNS 16S rDNA Eubacteria database within the SmartGene Bacteria module have been refreshed.

In addition to the Centroids database,

we also offer databases for Bacteria containing Collection Strains for 16S and

    rpoB, and

we continue to make daily updates to the IDNS 16S rDNA Eubacteria database,

picking up the most recently deposited sequences, so

they are available for your searches.

Please contact us, if you have any questions or would like to learn more about these services or our other offerings.
